Job Description

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and well organised Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team as a result of continuous growth within our business in the UK and our plans of expansion. Our goal is to grow our existing base of clients and core business through increased sales focus. The person will be responsible for driving the growth strategy and delivering sales and revenue targets. The responsibilities associated with this role will be wide ranging which call for business knowledge beyond just business development discipline.

You will have the full backing of a team of professionals, ranging through pre-sales, project management, marketing and a first class delivery team. The role will be focussed on new business sales alongside account management and offers a rewarding chance to earn high commission packages.

Day to day Job Role

  • Selling of SAP ERP software in addition to ecommerce solutions, custom built solutions and mobile application development based solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts.
  • New business development, winning and closing deals for which you will have full assistance from the pre sales team, and contribute towards the development of sales strategies and settling of sales targets.
  • Manage the sales process from initial opportunity through to the securing of the client purchase order, completing all commercial and contractual documentation and monitor the implementation to ensure successful service delivery
  • Recruit and train junior staff who can help and assist you in marketing activities and telesales
  • Assist management in devising sales plans and strategies
  • Conducting market research on competitive solutions in the market, thereby keeping up to date with products and competitors
  • Prepare proposals for marketing campaigns and promotional activities and events
  • Produce reports for marketing and sales strategies for senior management.
  • Keep our CRM system up to date with all details of prospects, customers, contacts, sales activity and customer feedback. Engage constructively with the marketing department to continuously develop the website content.
  • This role will also demand in deploying market research tools in order to gain a competitive edge.

Candidate Expected Skills

  • Candidate must have good exposure in SAP ERP Software Sales & Marketing and have a good overall IT acumen
  • Have a strong track record of exceeding sales targets within the ERP environment.
  • Client relationship experience proven to develop strong commercial relationships.
  • Good understanding of CRM systems.
  • Team management skills will be good
  • Dynamic, innovative and inspiring Sales manager who can build pipe line and strong relationships with clients.
  • Self-starter capable of prospecting, acquiring, developing and expanding business leads to build your own pipeline.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confidence in B2B sales situations- both account management and new business

Essential
  • Related Bachelor’s  Degree

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP products and the wider ERP market

  • Should be able to do Look and feel Demo of SAP HANA on your own.

  • Experience in software sales and business development

  • UK-wide travel is necessary.
